Sign-in, verification and passkeys
Complete email verification, manage passkeys and use the right account when accepting an invitation.
Who can use it: Available sign-in methods depend on your account, browser and enabled features.
3 how-tos · 11 steps
What you can do
- Sign in using the available password, Google, email-link or passkey option.
- Enter or paste an email verification code and request a replacement after the resend countdown.
- Create, rename and remove passkeys under Manage account → Security.
- Accept an invitation with the email it was sent to, then continue to the appropriate workspace or portal.
How-to 1
Verify your email
- Step 1:
Check the email address on the verification page. Complete the security check if shown.
- Step 2:
Use the latest verification email and enter or paste its code into the boxes. Fill the number of boxes shown; account verification normally uses eight digits.
- Step 3:
If the code is rejected or expires, check the latest email. When the countdown finishes, request a new code and complete a fresh security check if prompted.
- Step 4:
Continue after verification. For password recovery, choose your new password; for an invitation, finish setting up access.
How-to 2
Add or manage a passkey
- Step 1:
Open Manage account → Security → Passkeys. Confirm your email first if asked.
- Step 2:
Select Create a passkey and follow your device’s fingerprint, face or screen-lock prompt. This needs a supported browser and a secure connection.
- Step 3:
Use a passkey’s actions to Rename it, then Save name, or choose Remove and confirm. Keep another sign-in method available before removing one.
- Step 4:
On the sign-in page, select Continue with a passkey and choose the intended account in your device’s prompt. Cancel the prompt to use another available sign-in method.
How-to 3
Accept an invitation with the correct account
- Step 1:
Open the complete link in the invitation email. If you already have a Landwide account, sign in with that invited email; otherwise complete the setup shown.
- Step 2:
If the page says the invitation is for another email, select Sign out and try again and use the invited address.
- Step 3:
If access was created but sign-in failed, use the offered retry or password-by-email action. If the invitation was already accepted, sign in directly instead of accepting it again.
Good to know
- Document-signing verification is a separate six-digit code from the signing email flow. Do not use an account-verification code there.
- For a missing verification email, check spam, confirm the address and wait for the resend countdown before trying again.
- A partner or trial invitation must be used by its invited email to create the organization. Opening the link does not redeem it; reopen the original email if you need to restart after a reload.
- Creating a passkey and verifying a sign-in are separate actions. If a protected area asks for verification, complete its prompt even if you just added a passkey.
